Waterton Lakes National Park - August 2026

This trip has already been discussed and the details given out. I believe it will be over-subscribed. If I am wrong, or people drop out below my limit, I will come back on here and post more information for anyone else.

For those that came to the planning meeting, or received an email you have the details already.

You are responsible for finding your own accommodation. There will be four days of hiking (first day starts from the Visitor Centre on Monday, Aug. 10th) with a free day in the middle of the week where people can do easy hikes/walks with me or something harder on their own if they so desire.

Priority will be given to those who were at my meeting, in the order they sign up, but I have to know the people or have someone I know well vouch for them.

Please make sure you are equipped with the correct gear. At a minimum, layers of clothing for changing mountain weather, food, water, footwear with good tread. Additionally it would be good if you had the following: poles, first aid kit, emergency blanket, bear spray (if you know how to use it).
