Shannon Lake Walk/Hike - West Kelowna - One More Time!

This hike has become a favourite one for us Westsiders so let's do it again. It is a quick 6 KM hike/walk that is a bit less than 2 hours. It has a bit of everything, trails, stairs, street walking, ravine trail and some mountain trails. It is a good one.

We will meet at the parking lot of Shannon Lake Park and start from there. Note: the newly completed intersection of Butt Road and Old Okanagan Highway is now open.

We will walk along the lake first then take one of the trails up to Shannon Ridge where we will be walking on the streets until we come to another set of trails. This will be meandering but it is very beautiful this time of year. There will be no steep inclines but a few hills and steps. Anyone can do this, trust me.

Meet in the Shannon Lake Park lot and be ready to roll by 10:00 AM.
