Silver Star Provincial Park (snowshoe)

Silver Star Provincial Park is located between Sovereign and Silver Star. The trails are less developed and maintained than Sovereign’s but there is no cost to go snowshoeing. Our track will cover about 9k and 300m of elevation and take about 3.5 - 4 hours including stops and lunch. You should be an intermediate snowshoer to do this event.

Forecast calls for cold temperatures, so bring layers.

Dogs are allowed.

Be at the trailhead at 10:30. Take the Sovereign Lake turnoff from Silver Star Rd., but take the road to the right just before you enter Sovereign. You will find a parking area for Silver Star Provincial Park (see map).
