Pelmewash- Spion Kop via the Summit Trail

The PIN will take you directly to the trailhead (left hand side of the road). You can park on the right hand side of the road just before the trailhead or on the left hand side of the road just after the trailhead. Look for my white Subaru Outback.
The views from Spion Kop are spectacular, let’s hope for a clear day. We will start from the very bottom on Pelmewash Parkway. This route is an out and back. 9.2 km with 500 m elevation gain and it will take us approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
Good hiking boots and poles are recommended. Bring a lunch or snack as we will take a break at the Summit.
Dogs welcome but Mia be on leash.
