Wednesday Constitutional - Spring time Variations Mill Creek

As the warmer weather is upon us I will start changing up my Wednesday hikes, going to a different location every week.
Mill Creek involves some creek crossing and lots of off-trail walking. The beginning is easy as we wander the trail through the regional park. We have to cross the creek at some point and then make our way uphill towards Postill Lake Road.
After crossing the creek on the Postill Lake Road bridge we set off down some trails on the other side of the creek. Bring poles as there are some steep bits on the way up and the way down.
Probably 250 to 300 m elevation gain.
Some good views of the narrow Mill Creek Canyon on the way up and decent views towards Ellison Lake on the way down.
You don't need to sign up, but make sure you are there a couple of minutes early as we will leave promptly at 1 pm.
