Mount Keogan
Details
This is a challenging intermediate hike with a distance of 12.4km and an elevation gain of 564m. It is located between Okanagan Falls and Oliver. We will do it on the Sunday of Victoria Day weekend. At the top, we will have lunch with a very nice view which includes McIntyre Bluff, Vaseux Lake, Willowbrook and Oliver. We will be doing a loop that includes an ascent of about 4 km and a descent of 8 km with many switchbacks. AllTrails estimates the hike at 4.5 - 5 hours. Dogs are welcome.
Those wanting to carpool can meet at Wings in West Kelowna for a departure at 9:10 am. The drive from Wings is about 1 hour.
