If you are up for a moderately-paced, scenic evening hike that involves a fair bit of steady climbing, Mount Boucherie is a good fit. Plan on about 6 km long, almost 300m elevation gain as we hike up the somewhat steep back side and then come down the front side on a 30+ series of gradual switchbacks. We'll take a brief break at the summit to enjoy the view of West Kelowna. As there will be steeper sections having loose dirt/stones, consider boots/shoes with good tread and possibly trekking poles. I'm trying something new: to break up the uphill portion (meaning some will also be at the end), we will start partway up, by parking in a new subdivision located higher up.
