Tuesday Perambulations - Black Mtn Grasslands

I usually run a hike on Wednesdays, known as the Wednesday Constitutional, but this week and next I am working the election (don't forget to vote!) on two consecutive Wednesdays so the Constitutional will become (temporarily) the Perambulation.

Other than a date and name change these hikes will like my other mid-week wanderings: about 2 hours long over 6 or 7 km and 200 to 300 m elevation gain.

Dogs are welcome, but this week is in the Regional District Park so a leash is required.

I have marked the trail head at 1432 Tower Ranch Drive, BUT I might be off by a few houses in either direction. You park on the road and there is a trail up into the grasslands from there.
