Wednesday Constitutional - Rose Valley Rooster Tree

I haven't hiked this for a long while so you'll have to take my time/distance/elevation estimates with a grain of salt.

In theory it will be two hours give or take half an hour over 7 km and 250 m elevation gain.

The plan is to start on the Swamp Donkey trail (who comes up with these names?), switch to the Rooster Tree trail and follow that down to the reservoir. We'll come back on the Lake Loop trail. If my memory of the distance is too far off I will double back on our trail.

Dogs, cats and pet dinosaurs are all welcome.

Parking is at the lot near Rauchy pond and the elementary school. Toward the north end of the park on Westlake Road.
