We are back to the fall routine. This is my usual winter jaunt around Glenmore. A bit of exercise every Wednesday as the weather goes to its usual wintry landscape.

You don't need to be superfit to come, but you do need to speak to me if I am going too fast. I stop often for people to catch both up and their breath, but if I'm going too fast let me know. Having said that, though these are short hikes they are HIKES and there are usually some short, but steep scrambly bits. Bring your poles and shoes with good grip, especially as the weather gets wet and slippery.

About two hours, 200 m elevation gain, through rain, wind, snow and storm (some hikes maybe shortened slightly if the weather is bloody awful!)

Meet at Ballou Park.

Dogs are welcome on a leash or off in this particular area.

You don't need to sign up if you are waiting to see how the weather will be, but I will depart promptly at the appointed hour so don't be late.
