We are back to the slightly adjusted fall routine. This will be a semi-regular variation in the main part of Knox park. Good days a bit longer, bad days (the weather, my mood, my interpretation of the political landscape) a bit shorter.

Will still be a bit of exercise on some Wednesdays.

You don't need to be superfit to come, but you do need to speak to me if I am going too fast. I stop often for people to catch both up and their breath, but if I'm going too fast let me know. Having said that, though these are short hikes they are HIKES and there are usually some short, but steep, scrambly bits. Bring your poles and shoes with good grip, especially as the weather gets wet and slippery.

About two hours, 300 m elevation gain, through rain, wind, snow and storm. Should the weather gods lash out at us, I'll likely just do the Apex route. If the weather gods smile, I'll do a longer trip somewhere (kinda depends on the day.)

Meet at Knox Park at the gate (just off from the tennis courts).

Dogs are welcome on leash in this area.

You don't need to sign up if you are waiting to see how the weather will be, but I will depart promptly at the appointed hour so don't be late.
