Camping Cleanup at Rock Island State Park

Join the Cumberland River Compact for a weekend of camping, recreation, and environmental stewardship at Rock Island State Park! This cleanup will be done in kayaks!

Volunteers are asked to arrive Saturday morning at 11 a.m. After everyone has set up camp, we’ll hit the trails for a litter cleanup beginning around 1 p.m. After the cleanup concludes, you'll be free to enjoy the park however you see fit! Your campsite was generously waived by the park, so you are only responsible for covering your personal travel costs and food for the weekend.
