"Aprons Only": Gay pasta workshop and Cava tasting

The sassy Aprons Only event is back, and this time, we’re welcoming the Autumn season with an evening of fun, food, and fabulous company!
As the name suggests we will be cooking together a delicious recipe wearing only an apron, available on arrival.
While we cook and drink, we can socialise and focus on making professional and personal connections, sharing advices, jokes, and personal stories.
Cooking together will be a way to break the ice and start to explore our masculinity in a safe, respectful, private and non-judgemental environment.
It is an opportunity to learn new cooking skills, socialise with like-minded people and ultimately to feel confident with our body and be proud of something we created with our own hands 🙂
This exclusive event offers also a unique opportunity to become a Cava tasting expert for the night!
Enjoy a tasting of 3 top-quality Cava sparkling wines from Jaume Giro' i Giro', an excellent family-run cava and wine company from Barcelona, with years of experience since the middle of the 19th century (for more info visit https://cavagiro.com/en/ )
Under the guidance of a professional sommelier and cava expert, Thom, you’ll discover the enormous versatility and different characteristics of this top quality fizz; its history, its key stages & making-process and how to pair it with delicious dishes.

Get hands-on in the kitchen as we prepare handmade Orecchiette pasta, served with creamy and delicious broccoli sauce, like a proper traditional dish made by an Italian granny from Puglia!

PLEASE NOTE that the event is advertised on other platforms as well, the number of participants on Meetup doesn't reflects the real number of attendees as there might be more booked somewhere else. So please make sure you book your ticket asap to avoid disappointment.

The ticket includes:

• All ingredients for the recipe.
• A variety of Italian "antipasti" on arrival.
• 3 types of Cava wine to taste, plus more throughout the class.
• Aprons and utensils for the cooking class.
• Pdf of the recipe with all the ingredients and cooking instructions.

• The full address of the flat will be sent only to the attendees prior to the event date;
• This event is designed for GAY MEN ONLY.
• This is a themed event, you will need to wear only an apron, provided on arrival.
• The actual event last for 3 hours however usually we stay a bit longer to socialise (please bring your own drinks if you wish to do so).
• There is a minimum of 4 participants per class and I reserve the right to cancel the class due to insufficient attendees or due to unforeseen circumstances. I will, at your convenience, transfer you onto another class; if this option does not suit, you will receive a full refund.
