St Peters Bakery Hopping (Easter Edition) 🐰🥐😋

📣 🎶 Calling all local sugar lovers! Calling all local pastry lovers!! 🥐

Welcome to round 2 of our bakery event. For those with a sweet tooth and couldn't come to the last one, this event is FOR YOU! Join me this Easter long weekend for a walk along King St in St Peters (south of Newtown) as we make pit stops along some of Sydney's delicious bakeries. Easter is the perfect time of year where bakeries offer their best (you know those delicious hot cross buns😋). You can eat sweet or savoury, eat a little or a lot, keep the food to yourself or share with others, it’s up completely up to you. If the weather permits, we can picnic at Sydney Park with our sweets while swapping life stories. For those who hate sugar……. how? why? Secondly. please come, there are options for you dont worry! 😊

The current stops are:
1️⃣ Flour Drum – Modern Aussie with your local faves like cinnamon scrolls, lamingtons and giant cookies. 👀
2️⃣ Miss Lilly’s Bakery Cafe 🥧– Specialising in pies and super cute bite sized pastries.
3️⃣ Dulcet Cafe 🍰– Your traditional, beautifully crafted cakes and pastries with a Japanese flare (also if you love matcha). Chefs kiss.

Important notes:
💲This is self-funded and you are not obligated to try everything. The idea is to get a taster for example 1 item at each store.
🚻 Toilet access will be limited. Use the toilets at the station (before exiting the barriers) or wait until we go to Sydney Park. Plan you pee timing well or forever hold your pee.
🚶‍♀️This is a mostly standing/walking meetup, and we may not find seating. Wear comfortable walking shoes. If you are not able to stand/walk for 2-3 hours comfortably, I would reconsider coming to this meetup.
