Mark Wednesday April 9th in your calendars! We continue with the much-appreciated open demo format! If you’ve built something exciting with AI, explored a cutting-edge tool, or worked on a fascinating project, sign up as a speaker and share your work with the community.

Whether it's a working model, a product demo, or an AI application, this is your chance to showcase what you've done and inspire others! The demo slots are approx. 20 minutes each with a few minutes of Q&A after presentation.

Presentation #4:
Introducing AI in Swedish Secondary Schools: A Look at Curriculum Innovation

Short summary: Sweden is pioneering the integration of artificial intelligence education into its secondary school curriculum, introducing two distinct courses for students with existing programming knowledge. The new curriculum is a balance between emphasizing the ethical dimensions, the practical use cases of AI, and also fostering technological understanding and developer skill. Drawing from my experience as a programming and backend development teacher at a Swedish gymnasium, this presentation explores the goals, structure, and early experiences of implementing these innovative courses. I will give a few examples of student work on different levels as well as a few pointers for practitioners that want to develop products for schools.
