After a successful reboot last year, now it's time for the first session of 2022 of Copenhagen Data Engineering!
🎉 To celebrate the reboot, we will have four prizes sponsored by JetBrains for those joining in-person.
📹 The presentations will be streamed on YouTube starting at 18:30: https://youtu.be/5AVZxhdwURQ

# Agenda
18:00 - Meet new people and catch-up with old acquaintances over drinks and snacks
18:25 - Event kick-off
18:30 - Olivier Corradi will talk about the data pipeline that powers the real-time electricityMap app, using Apache Beam.
electricityMaps is the leading resource for electricity CO2 data. They are used, for example, by Google to shift the timing of compute tasks running on their hyperscale data centers to times when low-carbon power sources, like wind and solar, are most plentiful.
19:00 - Wondering about Data Mesh? What should you be considering when moving on from a central data platform architecture to a decentralized domain-oriented self-serve design? Check out what Anders Boje Hertz, Head of Data & AI at INTELLISHORE has to say.
19:30 - Continue the conversation over food and drinks
Many thanks to Banking Circle for providing the location, food and drinks.
