Talks:
Elastic for efficient audit trail data at Schultz
One developer's hackathon in 2015 marked the start of our journey into Elasticsearch. Elasticsearch has since become a critical part of our architecture and infrastructure.
We use Elasticsearch for audit trails, application search, observability, and much more.
In this talk, our chief architect, Allan Friis Hansen, will focus on how and why we use Elasticsearch as a cost effective solution for audit trails with long term retention of large data sets.
Speaker: Allan Friis Hansen (Chief Architect @Schultz A/S)
Elasticsearch Piped Query Language (ES|QL)
Elasticsearch and Kibana added a new query language: ES|QL — coming with a new endpoint (_query) and a brand new syntax. It let's you refine your results one step at a time and adds new features like data enrichment and processing right in your query. And you can use it across the Elastic Stack — from the Elasticsearch API to Discover and Alerting in Kibana. But the biggest change is behind the scene: Using a new compute engine that was built with performance in mind.
Join us for a quick overview and look at syntax and internals.
Speaker: Philipp Krenn (Developer Advocate @Elastic)
Thanks to Schultz for hosting us in their office!
