One of the most exciting milestones for Ethereum is just around the corner and we wouldn't miss this opportunity to share it with our community 🤗
Ethereum blockchain is transitioning to Proof-of-Stake and this "Merge" is scheduled sometime between 14th-15th of September, depending on TTD. (The exact date depends on the hash rate, which you can check at https://bordel.wtf/)
Get up to speed on everything about the Merge.
We'll meet just day(s) before to set the awareness, expectations, and excitement levels high just as we enter this milestone together!

- Svante Jørgensen: At Bitcoin Suisse he founded and led their staking service product, scaling it to 7 blockchains and $2 billion in custody. It was the first and only custodial retail Ethereum staking service, which was ready at the Beacon chain launch (produced block #2). Previous smart contract developer and startup founder. Crypto Twitter junkie. Also our meetup co-host.
- Freddy Coen: Solidity developer, currently building Atlendis. Previously built git.live (Web2) and worked in banking. Open source projects & writings. Also our meetup co-host.
