Kickstart GraphQL Copenhagen!

GraphQL Copenhagen is happening!

Hi everyone!

My name is Uri (https://github.com/urigo) and I’m the creator and the organizer this new GraphQL Copenhagen Meetup group.

I used to work at Apollo and later founded The Guild (http://the-guild.dev/), which develops a lot of the open source libraries in the GraphQL ecosystem:
(graphql-code-generator, GraphQL Modules, GraphQL Inspector, GraphQL CLI, GraphQL Config, SOFA, GraphQL Scalars, Apollo Angular, Stencil Apollo, GraphQL Import, merge-graphql-schemas, GraphQL Toolkit and more...)

In recent years we've started working with more and more companies from Copenhagen, helping with GraphQL and doing workshops, and fell in love with this place, so we thought, how come there is no GraphQL Meetup group??

I’ve already spoken with many GraphQL developers in Copenhagen.
There are a lot of us, with plenty of great companies using GraphQL in production.
So we deserve an active community and Meetup where we can share ideas, ask questions and learn from each other.

🗣So spread the word! 🗣

For the first Meetup, to kick things off, we’ve partnered with DFDS, which has a lot of GraphQL development and have been very excited to host our first Meetup!
(and took care of providing us with great food and beers!)

As for the content - I will also give a short introductory talk about GraphQL and it’s ecosystem.

Then Konstantin Dichev from DFDS will share some of the interesting use cases he use GraphQL for.

Then - YOU. We still have a month till the Meetup so I would love to get requests for talks, long or short from the community!

We will end with a Q&A session with the speakers panel and the audience (which I hope to do on every Meetup).

But most important, we will have time to chat, meet each other and talk about how we can make GraphQL Copenhagen great ;)
