Writing from a Potluck of Ideas (details in the description)

Sometimes a blockage of ideas can be passed with the right people around. This time I propose we put ideas in a “potluck” and choose from it to shape a new writing.

It’s quite simple:

1. Think of 3-5 ideas for writing, they can be simple words or sentences
2. Bring your ideas to the meetup, together with your favorite writing utensils (paper, pencil, pen, etc.)
3. We write our ideas on pieces of paper, and we put all of them in the middle of the table (the potluck), so everyone can glance over them
4. Choose what inspires you (it can be one of your ideas, another person’s idea, or multiple ideas put together)
5. Begin writing the story/poem/article/or any form your wish, and see how it takes shape

In the last part of the meetup we’ll read or talk about our writing, and optionally socialize related to our hobby. For example, you may read what you wrote, and then ask the others to guess what ideas you chose from the potluck. Or, if you wish to get feedback, you may ask the others how they perceived a specific idea in your text.
