Julia Copenhagen Meetup, Summer edition!

Hi everyone and welcome back from the Summer vacation. In the Julia Copenhagen Meetup admin group, we hope that everyone has had a good Summer and are ready for a new season of Julia events.

This meetup will be with a less packed program such that there is more time for getting to meet each other and network. We are so lucky to be hosted by PFA which sponsor not only the event but also sandwiches to everyone who signs up before Friday at noon (12.00, 12th of August)!

This time we will have two talks.
First we will hear from Niels Lykke Sørensen, Quant at PFA Pension, who will talk about lessons learned doing adjoint algorithmic differentiation and why Julia is a great tool for investment and has a large potential in the financial sector.
Afterwards, we will hear from Christian Michelsen, Ph.D. student at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, about the advantage of doing Bayesian statistics in Julia with Flux.

The program:
18.00 - 19.00 Doors open and sandwiches are served (if signed up)
19.00 - 19.05 Welcome
19.05 - 19.40 Niels Lykke Sørensen (PFA Pension)
19.40 - 19.45 Break
19.45 - 20.15 Christian Michelsen (Niels Bohr Institute)

Location:
PFA's address is: Sundkrogsgade 4, 2150 Nordhavn. You enter at the red arrow in the image. The auditorium is left of the entrance.

If you arrive by metro it is Nordhavn St. and then left when you exit the stairs from the station. By S-train, it is easiest to take the train to Nordhavn St. and then right at Århus-gade, under the tracks and cross Kalkbrænderrihavnsgade until you are at the metro station (and PFA).

There are bike parking outside of the entrance.
