Hej Copenhagen!

Welcome to Denmark's very first Pulumi User Group meetup, right in the heart of Copenhagen, just steps from the beautiful Nyhavn. Whether you're a seasoned DevOps engineer, a platform builder, an SRE, or a student starting your tech career, this is your chance to dive into the future of infrastructure.

Why does Infrastructure as Code matter in 2025?

We're living through a massive shift. AI isn't just changing how we write code; it's transforming how we build and manage the infrastructure that powers everything. Companies are spending trillions on AI infrastructure (yes, with a "T"), and someone needs to manage it all. That's where IaC comes in.

Think of IaC as the control layer for the AI era. While AI agents help us write code faster, we need smart, automated, and secure ways to deploy that code at scale. Infrastructure as Code lets you define your entire cloud setup using actual code. Servers, databases, networks? All of it. You can version it, test it, collaborate on it, and deploy it consistently across massive environments.

For students and early-career professionals, this is an exciting time to jump in. The skills you'll learn about IaC, cloud platforms, and automation are exactly what companies are desperately seeking. You'll be managing infrastructure that powers AI workloads, building internal developer platforms, and working with cutting-edge tools that didn't exist a few years ago.

Agenda

  • 5:00 PM – Doors Open
Grab a drink, enjoy some snacks, and connect with the community
  • 5:30 PM – Welcome notes
    Whats new at Pulumi.
  • 6:00 PM – From Scripts to Scale: Why Every Developer Needs Infrastructure as Code
Speaker: Engin Diri, Solutions Architect at Pulumi
Starting your career in tech today means infrastructure isn't just an IT department problem anymore. This talk cuts through the hype and shows you why Infrastructure as Code has become essential for modern developers.
The scale of modern infrastructure is staggering: thousands of servers, databases, and networks that need to be configured, deployed, and managed. Nobody's doing that by clicking through web consoles anymore. In this session, we'll explore what IaC actually is and why it matters more in 2025 than ever before.
Whether you're a student deciding what to learn next, a developer who's been avoiding "the ops stuff," or someone curious about how modern cloud infrastructure works, this session gives you the foundation before we dive into the advanced Agentic AI session that follows.
  • 6:45 PM – Agentic AI in Action: How Pulumi Neo Transforms Infrastructure Management
Speaker: Engin Diri, Solutions Architect at Pulumi
Agentic AI is everywhere nowadays, and autonomous decision-making without constant human supervision is a game changer. Unlike traditional AI that just responds to prompts, Agent AI analyzes data independently, executes complex workflows, adapts to changing circumstances, and integrates with systems to manage entire processes.
In this talk, I'll show you how Pulumi harnesses these advantages in our new product, Pulumi Neo: your newest platform engineer buddy. You'll see how Neo can work on your infrastructure and take care of daunting tasks that used to consume your time. Additionally, I'll demonstrate how our Pulumi MCP server supports your daily work as a Developer, DevOps, or Platform Engineer.
Walk away understanding how agentic AI can actually help you manage infrastructure, not just in theory, but in practice.
  • 7:15 PM – Open Q&A + Networking
Hang out, ask questions, chat with speakers, and enjoy the space and refreshments.

RSVP today, bring your questions, and let’s shape the Danish Pulumi community together.

We look forward to meeting you!
