Rust Hack Night #10: Rust <3 Nix

We are excited to welcome you to Rust Hack Night #10 at KEA.

Tonight's theme is: Rust <3 Nix

We explore the space where Rust and Nix/NixOS intersect: How to write a Nix flake for your Rust project, how to set up Rust development environments on NixOS, finding alternative purposes for rnix (the Nix language parser written in Rust), oxidizing your system tools and adding them to your Nix configuration. Are you looking for someone to rabbit-hole on Tvix, the reimplementation of Nix in Rust?

If you use Nix and Rust at work, and you want to share how you do it, we'll make room in the schedule for short presentations. Nix is a tall tower made of lambdas, and we love elevators!

You don't have to be a proficient Nix user, or run NixOS, to join the hack night.

You can also just show up and do your thing.
