What?
Two RStudio/Posit::conf's have come and gone since our last meetup. And while we were hibernating, a LOT has happened in the wonderful and sprawling, open source world of R. In this talk I'll try to cover all the highlights – and with as many useful examples and links as possible. Expect to get an update on some personal favorites, like Quarto, bslib, Shiny, DuckDB and Arrow – as well as mindblowing new things like webR, GT, Shiny for Python, Observable and other cross community data science and visalization stuff.
Who?
Niels Ole Dam is a communications, personal productivity and data analysis expert. He works as a consultant at Things in Flow, and has lots of experience in team and project management, agile workflows, publishing, science writing, data wrangling, cloud computing, interactive data exploration and more. Has been working with R professionally for +8 years.
