Immerse yourself in Virtual Reality (VR) eye tracking and VR camera

Details
Hi VR + 360° + AR Enthusiasts
First a big thank you for the last meetup where Ahmed from Samsung surprised everyone by showing up and demoing their GearVR along with Peter (Chicago) and Anette Kreutzberg (School of Architecture, Copenhagen). Before that Anders Hermund kicked off the meetup with "Virtual Worlds of Architects" followed by "Panorama Video" by co-founder Janus Heiberg Madsen. Cool stuff!
This time we're very excited to be able to announce two innovative projects in virtual reality @ ITU thanks to co-organizer and host Hugo Mulder.
One of the really big question in VR is still how we're going to interact with the virtual world. The hardware seems to be pretty much ready with the unreleased prototype Oculus Rift "Crescent Bay", but there has been speculation that Oculus is holding back their consumer model CV1 in lack of having nailed the interaction. They recently bought the skeletal hand-tracking startup Nimble Sense, but maybe eye tracking will be a great way of interacting naturally in VR.
Diako Mardanbegi is researching integration of eye tracking in wearable computers and gaze interaction in reality and virtual reality at the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU). His presetation will at least give you an insight of his work with eye tracking and VR.
Virtual worlds can today easily be created with e.g. Unity3d, but with VR cameras we'll be able to step into the real world at concerts, sport events, live news, historic places and more. Hannes Becker, founder & CEO of U3D, is going to tell us about 3D cameras and how they are planing to build one for VR.
Seems like 2015 is going to be an amazing virtual year :D
