THIS IS NOT A HOME BASE BIBLE STUDY.
We will dive into the Old Testament: Love the Lord Your God (Exodus 20:1-17)
Exodus 20:1-17 contains the Ten Commandments, which God spoke directly to Israel at Mount Sinai after delivering them from slavery in Egypt. I will have 3 part questions. For now let's gather some thoughts, see below:
Part 1: Turning Your Heart to God (Exodus 20:1-11)
Priorities: What specific distractions or modern "idols" (like career, phones, or social status) tend to slide into God's place in your life?
How can you actively reset your focus each morning?
Words: Our words reflect our respect for God. In what ways can you use your speech today to honor Him rather than misuse His name?
Rest: The Sabbath teaches us to trust God with our time. What is one practical boundary you can set this week to truly rest and recharge spiritually?
Light snacks will be provided. If you like there is a lake next to the community center and we can prayer afterwards.
