AI and Art: A Midjourney Discussion

Hey Everyone!

I know it’s been a while but we're doing events again! This Wednesday October 12th from 4:30-7:00pm at 1001 TechCenter. Come by and check out our guest speakers with Bend's own Heather Crank (owner of Crahmanti) and Rob Garrott (creator of Bendingpixels). They will be discussing the topics of AI Art, Midjourney, and the Implications on future design.

Then stick around for some creative networking and open mingling.

Timeline:

• 4:30-5:30pm: people arrive, mingle, settle in, Next Studios open house/tours.
• 5:30-6pm: Heather introduces what Midjourney is, the concept of AI and in general how it works, then shows some examples of her work and experience with it, describing how she achieved her results.
• 6pm-6:30pm: Heather and Rob lead an interactive discussion about the future implications and the pluses/minuses of AI as it becomes mainstream.
• 6:30-7pm: open mingling and discussion
