光冥想（Light Meditation）是一种简单的冥想练习方法，不仅拥有其他大多数冥想能给我们带来益处，还能增强我们内在无形的光。甚至能加入其他的冥想练习，例如呼吸和气功。

人体中有两个能量系统。气的系统是由流动于丹田和经络中的气组成，可以通过练习气功和其他体育锻炼来增强。另一个能量系统是普拉纳（prana），普拉纳在脉轮（chakras）和脉（nadis）之间流动。普拉纳系统的作用是排出负能量。两个系统都会在我们身外形成保护层（aura），但最能保护我们免于负能量干扰的是普拉纳形成的保护层（prana aura）。

当气弱的时候，我们的身体健康会受到影响。当我们的普拉纳/我们的光弱的时候，我们的精神和情绪健康会收到影响。

我们脉轮里的普拉纳，以及普拉纳形成的保护层的来源其实是我们“内在纯洁的光”（Inner Pure Light）。同样的“光”也是我们内在美好品质的来源，例如爱和同情心。

光冥想 不仅能增强我们的光，也能增加我们的脉轮和保护层。并且，它能清洁、疗愈、修复和保护我们。光冥想最早是由Cordelia Lee于2009年发现的，她也发现光冥想比她学过的其它冥想更有效。此后，CordyKet便将光冥想传授给大众。
