Downtown Walking Tour: Law & Disorder
Details
Facilitated by Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum guides, Law & Disorder explores how Colorado Springs officials fought to remain a dry town in wet times; the captivating story of how law enforcement, citizens and the Gazette newspaper worked to run the KKK out of town in the 1920s; and an infamous gun battle with train robbers in the streets of Downtown.
This tour is presented in partnership with The Mining Exchange Hotel. At the conclusion of the tour, guests are invited to enjoy complimentary signature cocktail at the hotel’s Golden Hour Bar.
One Saturday per month, March through October
MEETING TIME
Tour departs at 10 a.m. Participants are encouraged to arrive 30 min. early to enjoy a free beverage of their choice (included in ticket price).
TICKETS
$15 per adult. Ticket price includes one free beverage for each paid reservation.
