spdlog -The Super fast C++ logging library - Gabi Melman
spdlog is a very popular C++ logging library. Gabi will uncover what is takes to makes it so fast, what makes it so popular and discuss future directions.
Gabi Melman, is a software developer and architect. He currently works at Intel for the RealSense group.

Spectre, The Juicy Parts - Ofek Shilon
The recent Meltdown/Spectre vulnerabilities are the synthesis of at least 3 brilliant ideas: RoP, Flush/Reload, and Speculative Execution exploit. In this talk we will try to distill the technical essence of these ideas and their culmination into the exploits.
Each of these subtopics easily deserves a talk of its own, so to keep it in-depth we will focus on just one variant of Spectre, and will discuss impact and current mitigations only as time permits.
Familiarity with some assembly and processor internals is not assumed - but will be helpful.
