http://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/3/f/0/e/event_181816142.jpegThe season has begun - let's get out and get into shape for a hopefully long season! This event is for everyone - beginner to experts. If we have enough people, we can split into groups based on ability. Otherwise, the more experienced skiers can help coach the newbies.
We will travel at a moderate pace, covering around 12 km over 4 - 5 hours, including breaks. The trails are regularly groomed and trackset and we can adjust our route as needed. You should be comfortable with the idea of navigating some hills.
NOTE: I am not an instructor or trainer. If you are completely new to skiing, you may want to read or watch some training videos :) The other skiers and I will do our best to assist.
Distance: Approx 12 km return
Skiing Time: 5/6 hours estimate (off the trail by 4:30 ish)
