CoreOS London - February 2017 Meetup

Details
Hi Everyone, we're very pleased to announce our February Meetup!
On Feb 28th we've got a great lineup for you this month. Please join us for an evening of beer, pizza and talks! As always, many thanks to uSwitch for hosting the meetup.
As we did last month, we will also be giving a Workshop before the meetup. This has been created as a SEPARATE EVENT in order to mange the numbers more efficiently. This can be found here: https://www.meetup.com/CoreOS-London/events/237492623/
Jake Sanders, Operations Engineer at LiveWyer will be giving our first talk of the evening:
Vulnerability Static Analysis for Containers: An Introduction to CoreOS Clair.
CoreOS Clair is an open source project for the static analysis of vulnerabilities in appc and docker containers. It's goal is to enable a more transparent view of the security of container-based infrastructure. In this talk, Jake will be covering how it works with some interesting usage cases.
Our second talk will be delivered by Jorge Salamero Sanz from Sysdig.
Behavioural Activity Monitoring on CoreOS with Sysdig Falco
While there have been many improvements around securing containers, there is still a large gap in monitoring the behavior of containers in production. That’s why we created Sysdig Falco, the open source behavioural activity monitor for containerized environments.
In this session get a deep dive into Falco:- How does behavioral security differ from existing security solutions like image scanning as seen in CoreOS Clair?- How does Falco work?- What can it detect? Building and customizing rules- Next steps
Look forward to seeing you there,
David and Antony
