Learning useful representations of data - an overview

This month we are delighted to welcome Vlad Constantinescu, lead ML engineer at Getvisibility. Vlad will present an overview of learning representations from data, with Q&A. This will include topics such as autoencoders, variational bayes and contrastive learning with lots of background and interesting history of the AI and ML progress over the years.
There will also be a 30 minute exercise using TensorFlow on how to learn a 2D representation which solves MNIST to 98%.
And there will be pizza and beer!!
