Abstract:

Today everybody talks about AI, everybody says: "..I want it! ", but how many people actually need it and they are prepared to pay for it?

In this talk we will explore how you can ride the AI hype and get some tangible results out of it. We will focus on three categories of people, so that :

• if you are a developer or data scientist, you will learn how you can make your future career even more successful with AI
• if you are a starting up a company, you will learn the advantages and challenges of embedding AI in your products and value proposition
• if you are a business owner, you will learn if you need AI and what is the potential value it can create to your business.

Through real-world examples and a lot of lessons learned in the market, we will try to find answers to the challenging question : " How to create value with Artificial Intelligence?"

Luca Marchesotti is the founder of Beautifeye - A.I. for business growth, Ph.D., ex-senior scientist at Xerox Research Labs, He is an acknowledged expert in Image recognition and machine learning. He is known for his early work on Image Aesthetics a novel field of research in image categorization.
He holds 38 patent applications and he published his research in 35 peer-reviewed research papers.
Currently, he is leading the technical operations at Beautifeye: he is designing and developing A.I. solutions for clients in three key markets: Finance, Marketing and Security.
