Cork Art Club

Our goal is to form an Art Club where artist's could meet regularly.

All are welcome from beginner to advanced.

We have an Event every Saturday between 10.30am -1.15pm. upstairs in the Roundy pub, but not on Saturday's that are booked out for festivals, so check email notification dates.

From now until next May, because of the weather we will mostly be working indoors.

It is a 'free for all' so you are free to draw whatever you want there. Other projects you can choose from are, still life, drawing object's (bring your own), portrait's, full size model or draw from your imagination.

If you would like to do a group project the organiser can organise that.

Have coffee or drink and chat too.

We will have a break for 15 minutes at 11.45am.

We have set up a WhatsApp site for our group where members can chat with one another and see each other's art, that were created at Event's. If you want to be included in that just send me your name and number but first you have to attend one event.

There is a charge of €1 to enter each Event to be given to Peter to cover Meetup's administration cost's. Also to be allowed use the room the management require each of us to buy something at the bar counter.

If you have intentions to come to this Event , it would be helpful if you RSVP so people can see who and how many are coming. This will help to encourage more members to join our group and come along to our Events. Thank you. However if you don’t RSVP you can still come along to the Event.
When 'Meetup' states how many came to a past event, they only count how many RSVP. If only one RSVP, and say 20 turned up, 'Meetup' states on our Meetup group site that only 1 turned up at that past Event, not 20, and this gives the wrong impression to new-comers, who will think (wrongly) that only 1 person went, and will be discouraged from joining the group and attending any Events. So please help the group by RSVP when you get an email notification inviting you to any Event. Thank you kindly. Peter (organiser).
