Drawing at Nano Nagle Place venue.

The group will meet at the entrance of Nano Nagle Place, Douglas St, Cork City, between 15.00 -17.00hr. Thursday 11/09/2025.
We can do drawings around and maybe inside that historic place, and meet up afterwards for a cuppa and chat. It will be up to each to choose what they want to draw and how and by what means and materials to use. Philip is my name and I can give a little tuition if requested. I have been to art college. Basically the aim is to meet together for moral support, weekly, and discuss and chat afterwards and if we wish we may show our work or not. It would be helpful to have a 2B pencil, sharpener, erasure, and drawing paper pad. Otherwise use what you want to draw.

The aim of the group is to draw realistic life subjects outdoors, and practice and improve our drawing skills and become inspired to do works of art. Being indoors all the time doing art can be isolating to the real world, where the inspiration is at. Also creating an atmosphere of art around a group can be both thrilling, inspiring, fun, laughs and maybe even money from sales. Meeting regularly also helps us become more actively doing art.
