His classes combine high-level technical knowledge with clear instruction, helping dancers build strong fundamentals, body awareness, confidence, and social dancing skills.
World Champion of the prestigious “La Negra Salsa” competition in Spain, Paolo Costarelli returns to Cork after a fantastic and highly successful workshop earlier this year. Following the wonderful feedback from participants of his previous workshops, we are delighted to welcome him back for a second time to share his expertise and inspiring teaching style.
Paolo Costarelli is a professional dancer and instructor with over 15 years of international experience, specialized in Salsa On1, Salsa On2 and Cuban Salsa. Known for his musicality, clear explanations, and engaging approach, Paolo creates a positive learning atmosphere that helps dancers build confidence, refine technique, and enjoy social dancing even more. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn again from this experienced international instructor. ✨
In the first hour of the workshop, we will focus on body movement and music interpretation. In the second hour, we will focus on the use of musicality in partner work through simple exercises and a practical sequence; you will explore how to improve music interpretation, communication, timing, and responsiveness in partner work, helping you create a smoother and more natural interaction on the dance floor.
By improving coordination between the upper body and the basic step, even simple movements will start to feel richer, smoother, and more elegant — helping you look more “fancy”. ✨
