Cork Artist's Community

We have changed the name of our group from Cork Outdoor Drawing to our new name Cork Artist's Community, to emphasise that we draw indoor's during the winter, and outdoor's in the summer too, and that our aim is to bond our member's into a community with a community spirit and community home.

My vision for our group is to make it a safe haven and an artistic enhancer and artistic soul developer and artistic society for artist's to be involved in and be supported and sustained.

You are very welcome to our group.
 We will be glad to see and meet you. The group are very friendly and nice good people and enjoyable fun to be around.

The drawing event will last for 3 hours with a 1/2 hr break in the middle.

We can draw different things there like portraits, full model drawing, imaginary drawing's , anatomy drawing’s, drawings of objects, and when the weather gets warmer of building’s , of streets, of landscape, seascape , woods , trees, hill’s , mountain’s , cliffs and sky, etc. depending on the weather.

For the winter until next spring our group will have events indoors inside pub's where it is nice and warm and comfortable but we may have to buy a drink to hold our seat.

You can choose your own art material's. I for myself will bring a drawing pad (size A4 and A3), pencil (2B), sharpener, eraser. These can be bought at Cork Art Supplies in Princes St. Cork City. 
If you wish to bring Colouring pens or paints just make sure they are water based so that you can easily clean it up afterwards so no damage to private property (that will be your own responsibility).
