HTTP/2 Comes to Java - Talk from David Delabassée (Oracle)

Details
Hi all,
Maintaining our tradition of bringing great speakers from both Cork and overseas, we got David Delabassée from Oracle to talk about HTTP/2 on Java in early September!
I will send reminder emails as soon as the even get's close, but the sooner you RVSP, the better. ;-)
HTTP/2 Comes to Java
It's hard to overstate how much has changed in the world since HTTP 1.1 went final ... 17 years ago! There were no smartphones, Google was a small-unknown startup, Java Swing was less than a year old and most of you were still at school... you get the idea. Yet for all that change, HTTP remains at version 1!
HTTP/2 has been finalized in May 2015 so it's time to look in more details what HTTP/2 is bringing!
This session will introduce you to HTTP/2 and its new capabilities (Server Push, Binary Multiplexing, Flow Control, HPACK, etc.). We will then look at the Java 9's plan to replace the old HttpURLConnection API with a new HTTP client API. We will also talk about HTTP/2 on the server-side.
