Summary:
Quarkus is a A Kubernetes Native Java stack tailored for OpenJDK HotSpot and GraalVM with a major focus on Developer Joy.
In this session we'll look at the main Quarkus features, review its security architecture, and finish with a demo showing how to quickly develop and test a REST service secured with an OpenId Connect adapter and Role Based Access Control, using Dev Services for Keycloak and Continuous Testing features.
Biography:
Sergey Beryozkin is a Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat where he is Security Coordinator on the Quarkus project with a particular interest in OpenId Connect and JSON Web Token Security. Sergey is also an Apache Software Foundation committer and PMC on several projects, prior to re-joining RedHat Sergey was an Apache CXF JAX-RS (Java API for RESTful Services) implementation lead for many years. He has lived in Dublin since 1999, is a keen walker, a club chess player and an aspiring cyclist.
