Running since June 2013, every month we have 1-2 talks focused on Security or Technology - followed by socialising with like minded people – and you can find out exactly what to expect about the night and the venue on the What We're About section of our Meetup page. All people with any sort of an interest or level of knowledge in Security, Hacking and Emerging Technology are more than welcome to attend and feel free to bring like minded colleagues and friends.

This talk is on the Pwnagotchi (https://pwnagotchi.ai) and how this small virtual pet should not be taken for a walk (while it does some hands free hacking of nearby wifi!). We'll cover - What this device is doing, How dangerous it is, and What are the components of this hands free hacking experience.

TALK 2: Adversary uses of AI & why the technology will hurt them more than help them by Bob McArdle
There is a lot of hype around how criminals are using AI in their attacks, but the reality is not as bad as researchers might assume. In fact the technology is likely going to help our industry more than hurt it. In this talk we will discuss both sides of the AI revolution.
