A lovely route taking in Okehampton Castle, Meldon Reservoir, the Okemont Valley,.Over Oke Tor, around to Belstone, Nine Maidons stone circle. Estimated 3000' of ascent, so fairly strenuous.
This walk is accessible via train (Exeter to Okehampton)
Meet at Exeter Granite Way Car Park, behind Okehampton Station, EX20 1EW
The pace will be a moderate in order to allow people the opportunity to arrive back at the train station in time for a return ride to Exeter
This walk crosses streams & moorland. Please bring appropriate wet-weather clothing & footwear. Prior booking essential. Please contact Pearl with at least 24hrs notice if you wish to attend. Dogs welcome on lead
