The 15th Anniversary of Cornwall Digital Meetup Group!!

How time flies. 15 years ago we set up the Cornwall Digital Meetup Group as an informal way of allowing “digital” people to get together to share ideas and discuss new opportunities. So I thought it would be good to have a little 15 year get together.
We are really lucky to be able to have a fireside chat and conversation with Tony Smith who has just completed a 28 year career in the BBC as a cameraman, editor, producer and investigative journalist. Tony has filmed Theresa May meeting Putin, jumped out of Chinooks with David Cameron, exposed illegal operations in multiple countries. You will have seen his footage if you watch national news. Since leaving the BBC Tony has been exploring how AI and film can work together. This discussion will explore the positives and negatives of the emerging technologies and try and consider where we may be in the future.
We’ve got some space booked in the Fibre Hub for the discussion. Come along from 9.30am and get yourself a coffee from the cafe and will start the discussion from about 10am.
