Summer Intensive - Creating Drama through the Body

Our summer intensive is for anyone interested in physical theatre and the expressive power of the body. Whether or not you already have experience of Corporeal Mime, we will help you hone your technical and creative skills as a physical performer. For those interested in studying further with us, we will also be holding an orientation session outlining the full range of programmes at the Corporeal Mime School of Performing Arts.

Course contents
①Introduction：What is Corporeal Mime？
②Technical study：the basics of physical expression
③Repertoire：pieces and figures from the repertoire of Corporeal Mime
④Improvisation：where imagination meets technique
⑤Creation：how to create theatre based on the body
＋School Orientation（optional）

Target audience
Anyone over the age of 16 is welcome. No prior experience is needed.
Participants are expected to attend both days.
