What we’re about
We are the first-ever Taiko Team in Corpus Christi, TX, starting in October 2023 with three members who love Taiko drums. We believe that the sound of the Taiko drum connects people, brings energy, lifts the mood, and gives positive vibes to the community. Our mission is to promote the beautiful art of the Taiko drum in the South Texas area and build a bridge of friendship through our Taiko drum experience. We purely love Taiko drums and are eager to share them with people because the powerful sound of Taiko drums has the power to give positive feelings to people regardless of nationality, age, and background. Needless to say, it is simply a fun experience for both the player and the audience.
We practice every Saturday from 4 pm at Texas State Museum of Asian cultures.
