What we’re about
"Corpus Christi Women's Bible Study" is a non-denominational intergenerational mix of women that come together once weekly on Wednesday morning, to worship, hear a message, and share in some small group discussion. If you have never been in a bible study before or if you have studied the bible for years, you will learn life changing truth in our group.
Our mission statement is ,
"To know and believe God through the study of his word and experience love and unity in Christian fellowship."
We have been meeting since 2004 as a casual informal group. Come just as you are or dressed for work. A nursery is available free with reservations. We have several get togethers throughout the year that usually involve worship, food and lots of laughter.
Each week we begin our time together at 9:30 AM in the sanctuary for a time of worship, a devotional, and a message before dispersing to small group time around 10:30. Small groups are dismissed at 11:30 AM.
The first meeting will be a welcome coffee on September 6, 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 990 S, Shoreline Blvd (the main entrance facing Water Street), a nursery is provided. Classes will begin September 13 Wednesday 9:30-11:30 AM. The curriculum will consist of "Max Lucado Life Lessons", Ezra $ Nehemiah (fall) and First Corinthians (spring).
