Banned Books Read-In

Join us for a special event celebrating the freedom to read! We're teaming up with Banned Wagon Books, Libro.fm, and Atrevida Beer Co. for a Banned Books Read-In and Pop-Up Bookshop on Sunday, October 5th from 2:00-7:00 PM. You are welcome to bring your own banned book to read, or purchase something from the pop-up shop! Curious what books are classified as banned? Agenda:
2:00-3:00 PM — People arrive, browse Banned Wagon's pop-up shop, share what you're reading
3:00-4:00 PM — Silent read-in
4:00-7:00 PM — Optional socializing, head out or just keep reading

There will also be educational resources on censorship & book bans, as well as a free audiobook download for every attendee!

Silent Book Club is an open-to-the-public and free event. All you need to bring is yourself and a book.
