Description:
Join us for the final short challenge of the season: a one-night out-and-back backpacking trip on Colorado Trail Segment 17. Starting from the southern trailhead, we’ll head northbound toward Baldy Lake through beautiful alpine terrain and classic Colorado Trail scenery.
While shorter than some of our previous trips, this route includes an almost 12-mile dry carry, so come prepared with adequate water capacity and solid trail legs.
A perfect weekend escape and a great way to close out the season.

Plan:
Day 1: 13.7 Miles to Baldy Lake
Day 2: 13.7 Miles back to trailhead!
