Jessica Killin Congressional candidate our guest Sunday 3-1
Details
The probable leader in the race against sitting Congressman Crank will
be joining us this Sunday Zoom session, March 1 at 9:30 am.
With years of experience in Washington DC, including her last a position as Chief of Staff for Vice President Harris's "first gentleman" Doug Emhoff, she shows knowledge of how to run government correctly. Before going to work for Emhoff in 2023, Killin had been chief of staff for U.S. Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Pérez and then-U.S. Reps. Carolyn Maloney and Donna Shalala. She also served as an aide for then-U.S. Sens. Bill Nelson and Tom Carper and was a lobbyist for USAA.
During her White House tenure, Killin’s titles included deputy assistant to President Joe Biden.
Added to those jobs, a few years in private business, the US Army and a post graduate degree in Law, this Southern Colorado native seems well qualified to run for the position. It is possible that her ideas, understanding and goals in policy areas will convince us that she IS the best candidate.
We'll give her some time to present her Congressional goals and plans before engaging in dialogue with our members.
I have listened to her in several different venues and heard some things I really liked, and some things that left me with questions. And certainly our members will have their own questions to allow her to shine. We can expect her to be with us for about an hours. Or longer if she choses to stay around.
Her web site, https://www.killinforcolorado.com/ has donation and volunteer links for anyone wishing to "get in the fight"..
