250 year USA celebration, Acacia Park

Join many of your Colorado Springs open minded and liberal-leaning friends at a 250 year USA anniversary celebration, at Acacia park. Organized by Indivisible of Colorado Springs, 50-51, and other groups.
Entertainment by Colorado Springs “Resistance Singers”, a nonviolent, community-based effort using song as a form of protest against what organizers see as rising authoritarianism in the U.S.
And Mexican Folklorico Dancers, a nonprofit which aims to share the art of traditional Dance through education, with dance classes as well as performances for various occasions.
And we'll see the usual Summer day park turnout of food, and other group presentations. Plan you day and stop by promptly at noon, then move on to your other activities after the event ends at 2 pm.
